Burton x FRAGMENT [ak] Baker Down Ultralight Insulated 2027 – Mid Layer Jacket

Born from a 30-year creative partnership between Burton and Hiroshi Fujiwara's FRAGMENT, the Baker Down Ultralight is a technical insulating mid layer built for snowboarders who want serious warmth without the bulk. It sits at the heart of the Burton [ak] layering system, designed for high-output days on the mountain where every gram counts.

The jacket pairs an 800-fill down core with a Pertex® 10D nylon micro ripstop shell, keeping weight to an absolute minimum while the discontinuous quilt pattern lets the down loft fully to deliver even, full-body warmth. A snap closure — rather than a traditional zip — trims additional weight, allows a wider range of motion, and creates a clean pass-through opening to reach base layers without fully opening the jacket. Stretch binding at the cuffs and hem seals out cold air, and the whole jacket packs into its own zippered chest pocket. That chest pocket is also engineered to align with the pass-through pocket of the Acamar Jacket, enabling seamless access across the full [ak] layer stack. Fit is regular.
