Salomon Assassin 2027 – All Mountain Snowboard

Description

The Salomon Assassin is the answer when you refuse to choose between a powder board and a park board. Built for riders who want a single quiver weapon capable of handling deep days in the backcountry and technical laps in the park, it suits intermediates pushing into advanced territory as much as experienced all-mountain shredders.

The Assassin runs a directional twin shape with an elongated nose and tail optimized for float in variable snow, anchored by a Rock Out Camber profile that delivers the energy and edge hold you expect on groomers and in the pipe. Its Quadralizer sidecut makes carving feel intuitive across all terrain types. The construction pairs an Aspen core with Popster inserts and Bamboo Rods for a lively, poppy feel, while Carbon Stringers sharpen response underfoot. The sintered EG base and ABS sidewalls round out a build designed to hold up through hard use, and the FSC-certified wood core keeps things on the greener side. Available in regular and wide widths, with flex 8/10.

Who It's For

If your ideal day starts with a powder lap and ends with park hits or side hits off natural features, the Assassin was designed around your riding. The directional twin shape means it rides switch without compromise while still giving you that forward momentum in deeper snow. Riders who hate leaving boards in the truck will appreciate having one board that genuinely does it all.

FAQ

• Is the Assassin better suited for powder or the park? Neither — and that's the point. The directional twin shape and Rock Out Camber are specifically balanced to perform across both environments without feeling like a compromise in either.
• What does the Quadralizer sidecut actually do? It uses multiple sidecut radii along the edge to make the board feel responsive and precise whether you're laying down a carve on a groomer or locking into a box in the park.
